Revolutionising Reporting

I am an independent consultant who specialises in the production of annual financial reports and corporate reporting. I have over 35 years’ experience in producing annual reports that have spanned many changes in technology, shortened timescales and reduced costs.

Over the length of my career I have produced over one thousand annual financial reports for some of the largest companies in the UK and Europe. Recently I have worked closely with the client and senior leadership teams at organisations such as Vodafone and British American Tobacco. Helping and advising the Investor Relations, CoSec and Financial teams to address their unique challenges and improve reporting processes in the rapidly changing world of corporate disclosure.

I embrace technology to gain efficiencies and improve quality in what has traditionally been a very manual process of production:

• I specialise in linking clients’ financial consolidation systems (e.g. Certent CDM and Workiva Wdesk) to the production of their annual financial reports.
• Using my 20 years of experience of XML and XBRL, I have been leading the thinking and developing processes for the production of annual reports in the new ESEF format.
• I have expertise of working with remote editing systems such as CtrlPrint and using them to their best advantage in your reporting production process.
